We are now living in a society where alcohol and drugs have become more accessible. With the introduction of 24 hour licensing laws and the more accepted use of recreational drugs, there is an increased risk that our workforces may use alcohol and drugs inappropriately. This will have substantial implications for the organisation – and the managers and specialist staff having to deal with these situations.
In ‘Alcohol and Drugs – developing policies and managing them effectively’, John Griffiths and Ava Fine will explore the impact of alcohol and drugs in the workplace for Managers and HR Managers, Health and Safety Advisers and Occupational Health Professionals.
